Overlawn - Some Trivia and Brief Location Information

Disclaimer: Overlawn does not belong to the original universe of Undertale or Plants vs. Zombies. Please do not regard its designs as the canon of the originals.

In Overlawn, zombies are a species that existed long ago and has long been extinct. the virus breaking out in 203X is able to mutate humans into creature similar to this species. this virus attacks their brain directly, making them almost lose the human thinking, infecting others through the desire for the brain. Certainly, a small number of people, after becoming zombies, still keep a certain level of mind and sobriety. It varies from person to person. Plants refers to a new type of creature cultivated by Crazy Dave, different from ordinary plants in nature, having self-consciousness like humans.

In Overlawn, property is a living thing's outstanding features, which do not easily change. Color of soul is the concretization of property, which is the color corresponding to the property itself. During a battle, a character will display the color corresponding to their property, regardless of whether they have a soul or not.

Tree of Wisdom

The source of the barrier, rising abruptly out of the ground after the war, creating a vast unidirectional barrier field.

It's said that as long as one can climb to the top of the tree, they can be transported to escape the barrier, but the cost is sacrifice a certain amount of the soul energy, which exceeds the soul energy storage of most creatures.

Taking a different path, enough soul energy can directly destroy the tree, but who can assure that after absorbing so much souls, the body will not collapse due to inability to withstand such powerful energy before destroying the tree?

Unsodded City (Ruins Replacement)

Locating in the original residence of the plants prewar. Its vegetation was severly damaged due to the war. Plants rebuilt a city on ruins.

Outside it there's a doubled city wall surrounding. Zombies after entering the city gate will walk between the two walls and be nearly impossible to notice the entrance to the residential areas.

In the early years, plants, due to the cost of the war, arranged puzzles everywhere between the city walls to defend zombies.

the top of the city wall consists of glass plates, which make it able to look up at the night sky.

Grassy Valley(Snowdin Replacement)

Not influenced by the war, still lush with green grass. During the king led plants to explore areas outside the Unsodded City, many plants relocated here.

Watery Grave & Mistery Mistory(Waterfall Replacement)

Once planned to be developed as an area telling history of plants culture. Due to some policy changes, a military stronghold was ultimately established there, but those which had been developed to an extent were preserved.

Roofool(Hotland Replacement)

A bustling metropoli. Entertainment center. Full monty.

Tree of Wisdom Jr(CORE Replacement)

Fertilizer developed by the lab led the growth of a new tree from the lateral roots of Tree ofWisdom, which solved the energy crisis of plants via its continuous release of energy.

The built-in defense system is the last line of defense to prevent zombies from approaching.

Endless.

Zen Garden(New Home Replacement)

A peaceful area abandoned for the growth of Tree of Wisdom Jr. The king and a unfamiliar caretaker is the only ones that stays and lives here.

Loonatics Unleashed: the Vester Clan

Sylth Vester (early 40's)

Sylth's family has been protecting Blanc for centuries and sometimes that means throwing a coup or throwing the Royal Tweetums off an 80-story building locked in their pretty gilded cage

they are the assigned "bad guys" to blame when something goes wrong and the ones to do the dirty work (it's debated if this role erupted from the discrimination cats face on Blanc or whether it was assigned by a spiteful King who did not care for his heirs)

Grannicus, who realized a little too late that her family was awful, has quietly been arranging them to die or be exiled, working with the Vester Clan

With how young the next-in-line Tweetums was however, he decided to try and show the young canary how to be a decent ruler.

Unfortunately, this backfired horribly

Tweetums liked to "play" and since there were never any consequences for Tweetums' actions- no matter how increasingly inhumane- and Sylth always bounced back mostly intact from his tortures, the spoiled brat never learned

the FINAL straw for Sylth was when Tweetums (roughly 10) decided to "play" with his toddler and cost his son a limb

Polaris Pol" Vester (late 20's)

Immigrated to Acmetropolis to escape the Tweetums rule

though she she wanted to be a movie director, she is currently the camerawoman for reporter Talia Russo

has a plethora of weird skills from the various jobs she had before

really wishes her brother would just let Blanc go

Sylth Orion Vester Jr. (14)

goes almost exclusively by his middle name

she started with badminton but she could never get the birdies back out of the trees- too high

despite being regularly exposed to "real" magic from a young age, she takes great joy in learning/watching slight-of-hand, stage magic

plays the picolo and flute (bc she wasn't getting bullied enough)

if her friends were jumping off a cliff, she wouldn't follow them. Her mama raised a leader- she'd be the first to take the leap!

Both of the twins are very protective of eachother- a good thing given the amount of bullying they gotta deal with- and share a bad habit of going through the house and their parents things for parts for their various robotics projects and inventions with various degrees of success. (RIP Toasty the Toaster XXIII) These two are peak examples of high intelligence low wisdom.

Pixie-Bob (née Lynx) Vester (early 40's)

Former special agent/intelligence officer, currently cybernetics and robotics specialist

designed and built Orion's crutches with some "fun" upgrades from Sylth

met Sylth back in school (he was a visiting foreign exchange student), but the two only got involved romantically when reconnected on her Blanc assignment

moved her family to her hometown, Megakat City

This is a DnDads (Dungeons and Daddies) ask/rp blog of an OC known as Kelsey. Kelsey is a time witch who is most notable for their efforts to prevent damage to the "design" of time. The account is managed by Kelsey at five different ages and, as all time travelers do in order to prevent confusion, each has a nickname. Posts are tagged according to the "version" posting.

This does not involve substance abuse, as it is in reference to the magical syringes that can remove memories. Individual posts will be tagged with a warning. I do NOT tag for spoilers, as this is a roleplay group, and the majority of what is discussed is prior knowledge within the group. I also will likely not post anything relevant to episodes as soon as they come out.

Stats, Levelling, and Character Sheets

Character sheets are still a work in progress. I will have separate sheets for Lil, Junior, Sen, Silver, and Psi, each with levels suitable to their current statuses.

Currently planning to spec as a Clockwork Soul Sorcerer.

May multiclass with Ranger, however this is subject to change.

Background

Kelsey has mentioned their caretaker, Titi, and alluded to the fact that it was Titi who taught them to wield time magic.

Kelsey insists that time is not a line or a stream, but a Design.

Whenever rabbits are mentioned, Kelsey behaves as if there is something dangerous about the creatures.

Lil K, the youngest, is friendly and outgoing though shy in large groups. She likes to color in crayon, although all of her drawings are incoherent scribbles.

Junior Kels is assertive, loud, and usually rude. Swears quite a bit. Mean to the people they like. And the people they don't like. And pretty much everyone.

Senior Kels is quiet, often passive -aggressive, and dislikes bullshit. When confronted with younger individuals, however, they can be gentle. They are especially cautious around those suffering from anxiety or panic attacks.

Silver Kelsey typically doesn't interact online except to share the Rules of Time. They're busy hunting Rabbits and looking for something.

Psi Kel is confident, and speaks vaguely when talking about future events that they seem to have some knowledge of. They main Boo in Mario Kart.

When two Kelseys meet, it has been stated that they have a rule that makes one of the Kelseys either leave or give up memory of the encounter. It is implied that the one who must leave or give their memory is the younger one. Junior does not like this rule.

The Kelseys are not fond of other time travelers, especially Darryl. Anyone who has messed with time is also an object of annoyance. Glenn is on thin ice, and Mr. Moustache / Scam Likely is also currently on the bad side of the Kelseys.

Dennis Anderson / Mark Likely ( @dilf-dennis ) has repeatedly mentioned that he and Kelsey are friends, but at any mention of it Psi is quick to deny friendship between them.

Kelsey keeps a notepad with them at all times.

Kelsey has always returned all of their books to the Library.

Are We Too Small to Change This Messed Up World?

Every day we wake up to a world that often feels heavy—riddled with conflict, injustice, climate crisis, inequality, and a deep spiritual hunger. Sometimes it feels like the problems are too big, and we are too small.

“What can I do?” we ask.

“Am I doing enough?”

Or even: “Does it matter?”

But perhaps the real question isn’t about how big we are or how much we do—it’s about how true we are to the values we live by. Across spiritual traditions, there’s a quiet wisdom: that even small actions can shift the world in unseen ways.

Let’s explore this question through different lenses, drawing from teachings both ancient and modern.

1. Buddhism – The Power of a Single Thought

Buddhism teaches that all things arise from the mind. Every intention, thought, and action creates a ripple in the vast web of existence. The 8th-century master Shantideva said:

My youth might be quicky leaving me, but I am a proud father of six, and my son Maxwell Sawyer Jr. is getting ready to step out from my umbrella of authority and leave us and cleave to his future wife. Disney Fan Theory: Goofy Goof and George G. Geef

Hello, friends. While I am not big on modern Disney, I still love classic Disney and my favourite character is Goofy. I even enjoy his animated shorts in my adult life. However, I noticed with time, tons fan theories about this character, his history and family tree have come to light. In fact, I have one of my own that I want to share. Before throw it out there though I want to describe Goofy Goof’s character and history vs. George G. Geef’s.

Goofy Goof (the definitive version) is a sweet to a fault, kind and jolly klutz with a heart of gold and tends to have these bouts of wisdom. His sense of style and demeanor is endearingly nerdy and his trademark accessory is his green hat though there are times he doesn’t wear it. His first pet was a grasshopper named Wilbur though it can be assumed that he passed away. Sometime after that, Goofy got married and had his son Maximillian Goof who is more commonly known as Max. Tragically, Goofy’s wife died in a car accident while their son was a still a baby and raised him alone since while taking in his second pet a cat who he named Waffles. By the time Max was about eleven, Goofy moved to Spoonerville and right next door to the Pete family. Considering Waffles is not in the picture when Max is older, it can be assumed that the cat passed away. Later on when Max moves out for college, Goofy also got his own college degree at long last and has gone through many odd jobs over the years. In present day, Max is eighteen while living alone and Goofy has adopted his third pet being a kitten named Mr. Pettibone. Goofy is also officially in a relationship with Clarabelle Cow.

This brings us to a lates 50s to early 60s version of Goofy: George G. Geef. It’s very clear that George is a Goofy, but not THE Goofy. George is still clumsy, whimsical and even makes Goofy’s trademark sounds especially his laugh. However, his personality is much more serious, he has a bit of a temper, he has a slight ego and he is not above doing selfish things like gambling in secret. However, he is ultimately a good person and his sense of style and demeanor has much more finesse than Goofy does and he works in a office to this day. George does not have his two teeth exposed, he has a flesh coloured face, a black nose and black hair with black ears which he usually styles to be hidden most of the time while his body is flesh coloured all over. When George was single, he took in his first pet which a puppy named Bowser who eventually grew up and was pretty naughty. Later on, George got married (and it can be assumed that by then, Bowser passed away as he is not in the picture) and eventually had a son named Goerge G. Geef Jr. who everyone calls Junior. Like George, Junior styles his ears in such a way that they are hidden, he has a flesh coloured face and a flesh coloured body. However, his nose is pink and his hair is red which are traits he inherited from his mother. When Junior got older, the Geef family took in both a cat and a dog though their names were never specified. It is also hinted that George’s marriage got a bit rocky at one point as Mrs. Geef began to flirt with other men, but soon after, it was hinted that they worked things out and are happily married while Junior is as last seen in elementary school.

Now... I know the Disney wiki lists these two as being the same character, but I don’t I need to explain how that doesn’t make any sense as I don’t even need to list how different these two are. However, Disney insists that these two exist in the same universe and in the same timeline.

I know there is another fan theory out there that states that the Goofy who is Max’s father is actually George’s son grown up, but I think I don’t think that’s likely. While I can confirm that people who are redheads or blondes in their youth can wind up as brunettes in their adult life, I don’t think Goofy is Junior grown up because his last name is “Goof” not “Geef” and he’s too proud of his dad and family in general to be the type of person who changes his last name. Also, when he talks about his home life and childhood and all flashbacks of his youth indicate that not only was Goofy very different from Junior, when it was the 70s, Junior was a child while Goofy was a teenager.

This brings me at long last to MY fan theory to what Goofy and George are to each other. I think George is Goofy’s uncle. Specifically, Goofy’s grandfather is the brother of George’s mother meaning that they are also separated by a generation. Goofy did mention that he had a big family that was close nit. I say this because the timeline makes it so that it makes sense this way and because this is the only sensible way Goofy and George can exist at the same time while still both being Goofys. In fact, I don’t think a lot of the Goofys are the same person, but that’s a theory for another day.
